Live Blues Band Saturday Night - “Hashbrown’s Big Blues Band”

I have asked Hashbrown to put together a special treat for this year. Take the great band he has and add some instruments, some horns, a keyboard, and a kick ass harmonica player. And you have Hashbrown’s Big Blues Band! Sure to be a great evening. Advanced tickets to this one dance are available at this link: Hashbrown’s Big Blues Band

Plus, if you get into town early, join us at Deep Ellum Blues on Thursday night for live Texas Blues, featuring Hashbrown’s band. Sorry, but Deep Ellum Blues is an ‘over 21’ establishment. (BTW, for those that are wondering, The Bone is no more!)

The List of Cream of the Crop DJ’s includes:

Tina Davis (Austin, TX)
Tina has been doing the DJ thang for over four years and has been happily dancing for about seven years. She started in the great state of Florida and now calls Austin, Texas her home.

In addition to spinning her fave Blues, Lindy and West Coast Swing tunes in Austin and at various dances across the country, Tina has been a featured DJ at the Damon Stone Workshop Weekend in Waterloo, Canada (2004), Waterloo’s Blues Exchange (2006), both Down Home Blues Festivals (San Francisco) Cheap Thrills and the STLBX last September. She was also a co-DJ for the Yehoodi Radio Show in May 2005 with Houston DJ Kristina Arscott.

Tina spins a mix of styles, but it's all got to be funky and have a little “ass” to it. She also likes 80’s music, but don’t hold that against her.

Steven Watkins (Oakland, Ca)

Formerly from NYC, Steven now  "officially" resides in Oakland Ca. He started dancing 7 years ago (he thinks!), and he began his Blues DJing career at - you guessed it - St. Louis' Cheap Thrills 2004.

Since then, he's been "thrilling" dancers across the country with smooth, sultry Blues, a great sense of musical timing, and his sexy good looks! St. Louis, Dallas, San Francisco, if it’s a blues event, he probably DJ’ed at it.

BTW, these pictures are out of date, Steven has much more hair now!!!
